Women's Herstory Month

When

A platica (conversation) on the basic biology of menstruation, cycle tracking, and herbal allies that support & nourish the body during this time. This platica will weave in the interconnection between the cycles of the moon and menstrual tracking, first moon stories, and the practice of tending to self when bleeding. **This program will prioritize the registration of self-identified QTBIPOC students**. Facilitator's bio: Yesi (she/they) is a mixed Indigenous mama originally from the coast of Oaxaca that creates earth medicine from their garden, small wild harvests, and local organic ingredients. They are the creator of Apapáchame Tierra, an affirmation of the embrace (apapacho) that comes from earth through these medicines. They are also a student of the loom, a kombucha maker, a Certified Blactation Educator Accomplice (CBEA), a support person to survivors of abuse, and an Integral Yoga teacher in training.
